1 Termite Inspections
in Ormeau.

SE QLD is one of the highest-termite-pressure regions in the country. Pre-purchase termite inspections are mandatory due-diligence on any house purchase, and annual inspections are the standard for ongoing protection. The operators on HelpSorted handle pre-purchase inspections, annual checks, baiting systems (Sentricon, Exterra), and chemical barrier treatments.

A pre-purchase termite inspection runs $300-$500 and produces a written report that satisfies most conveyancers and lenders. Annual termite inspections cost $200-$350 and should include a thorough check of all timber elements, subfloor (if accessible), roof void, and outbuildings.

If live activity is found, treatment options are baiting (slow but effective, $2,500-$5,000) or chemical barrier (faster, $2,500-$6,000 depending on house size). For new builds in SE QLD, a Part F termite barrier is built into the slab as part of code - but it ages, and a 5-10 year follow-up inspection is wise.
