1 Bathroom Renovations
in Victoria Point.

Bathrooms are where waterproofing matters most and where dodgy reno jobs surface fastest - usually as mould or water-damaged plaster within 12-24 months. The bathroom renovators on HelpSorted hold the right licences for the wet-area work (QBCC waterproofing licence is the one that matters most).

For a standard bathroom renovation in SE QLD, expect $20,000-$40,000 for a mid-range job (re-tile, new vanity, new shower screen, new fixtures) and $40,000-$80,000+ for high-end (custom vanity, stone benchtops, niche shelving, frameless screens, underfloor heating).

The trade chain: stripper-outer, plumber rough-in, electrician, plasterer, waterproofer, tiler, plumber finish-off, glazier (shower screen), painter. Some renovators run their own crew; others sub each trade. Ask who's responsible for warranty on the waterproofing - QLD law requires a 6-year statutory warranty on water-proofing work, and a properly licensed operator should issue that directly.
